PBRC Student Photo Contest
The Pacific Basin Research Center (PBRC) is pleased to announce its new PBRC Student Photo Contest! We encourage all undergraduate and graduate students to participate by submitting their own photographs that in any way align with the mission of the PBRC. The PBRC staff will select ten winning photographs. The authors will be rewarded with $20 Amazon gift cards.
- Short description of the picture and the au- thor’s name in the title of the file.
- High-quality resolution.
- Maximum of 3 submissions per student.
- Submit via e-mail sent to the PBRC, firstname.lastname@example.org. Submission e-mails should be titled “PHOTO CONTEST SUBMIS- SION” in their subject lines.
Each photograph will be reviewed by the PBRC staff and faculty and will be evaluated based on its artistic quality as well as its relevance to the PBRC and its mission.
The mission of PBRC is to undertake research on policies and institutions that contribute to the achievement of peaceful, humanistic development. The Center engages in directed research on selected topics relevant to the Asia-Pacific region, including the Latin American countries bordering the Pacific, and those countries affected by its development. In keeping with the educational mission of the University, the Center also sponsors campus conferences, lectures and seminars that extend and support its research activities.
Submissions are due on Friday, September 30th.
