PBRC Faculty Summer Research Grant 2017
The Pacific Basin Research Center is pleased to announce the call for applications for its biennial faculty summer research grants. The PBRC will provide 2-3 awards of up to $5000 to help SUA faculty conduct research which speaks to the core mission of the PBRC—to promote humanistic development in the Pacific Basin (widely defined).
The award may serve as seed money to help faculty members prepare and submit a research proposal to external funding sources such as foundations, government agencies, international organizations, or nonprofit groups to pursue applied or scholarly research on a topic affecting Pacific Basin countries. Alternatively, the award may serve to help spur ongoing research leading towards an academic publication, perhaps supporting research assistants, fieldwork, or academic meetings.
